IVCO 2022 will be held in person in Saly, Senegal

We are delighted to announce that this year the IVCO conference will once again be held in person! IVCO 2022 will take place from the 16th to the 19th of October in Saly, Senegal, hosted by Crossroads International and the International Bureau for Children’s Rights.

The theme of IVCO 2022 is A New Dawn for Volunteering for Development. As we emerge from COVID-19, the conference will explore what is now possible for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, how multi-dimensional voluntary cooperation models can contribute to these efforts, and how the expertise of volunteers in the Global South can be at the heart of achieving the Goals.

The co-hosts will work closely with the Senegalese Government and National Committee for Coordination and Promotion of Volunteerism, and with volunteer-involving organisations in Senegal and West Africa.

We will be in contact in the coming weeks with details of how to register for IVCO 2022.
